Outreach News
Room Boxes for Refugees During the season of Lent, members of St. Patrick's will be donating household items such as kitchen utensils, bedding, towels, etc. in order to to fill Room Boxes. In coordination with Samaritas, a joint Episcopal Church and Lutheran outreach organization, the boxes will be given to refugees as they arrive to begin a new life in our local communities.
S.P.O.O.L. (St. Patrick's Offering Our Love) is a satellite location of Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers. We began offering our volunteer services in September of 2014. Volunteers are matched with older and disabled adults so they may remain in their homes. We offer friendly visits, phone reassurances, run errands, provide caregiver relief, transportation, repairs, and light housework.
Crossroads Soup Kitchen: Our congregation was able to serve 856 meals to persons who were without food due to homelessness, unemployment and health challenges. Thank you to all who contributed their time and financial support!
