Inclusive Pride Flag
The intention of the flag that is hanging in our entrance hall
is for us to let guests know that all truly are welcome at St. Patrick’s. We are a spiritual community of hospitality, healing, and faith. The flag is based on the flag of the City of Chicago. The colors on the stars represent gender, life, healing, nature, serenity and spirit,The pink and blue stripes represent the transgender community
and the black and brown stripes stand for black, indigenous, and people of color.Flying the flag indicates that we are listening, learning and ready to do the work
to understand, include and support the needs of the LGTBQ community.
