Christian Education

We do not ask that you check your mind in at the door.

Our ability to reason is a gift from God. We may not have all the answers but we welcome all questions. We believe we all have something to learn from one another and always have more to learn about ourselves, our world, and about God.

Come and learn about God's presence in the church's history and in our lives today.

Sunday School and Nursery begins at 10:00 am

Nursery – Newborns to 3 years of age

Sunday School – 3 years to 12 years

We incorporate Bible stories, activities, crafts, media, and games into a full faith experience for children. They develop the skills to unlock the Bible message and grow their faith by leaps and bounds.

Sunday School nourishes and enriches children, from birth through tweens, so they can share the good news of God’s love and serve God and neighbor. Children will see that our faith goes with us as we grow.

“Your faithfulness is growing by leaps and bounds, and the love that all of you have for each other is increasing.” — 2 Thessalonians 1:3

Sunday School has adopted an overseas foster child whom we will be supporting through Bethany Christian Services and St. Patrick's Missions Committee.

This year's teaching staff is: Dina Garcia, Denise Marshall, and Donna Marshall.

To prevent the abuse of children and of vulnerable adults, all adults who work with our children and all licensed ministers in our parish are required to attend Safe Church training, and to have on file, their signed agreement to comply with the Diocese of Michigan Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children, Youth and Vulnerable Adults.
