Based on information from Bishop Bonnie Perry, Episcopal Relief and Development, The World Health Organization, and the Center for Disease Control, the following revised actions are being put into practice at St. Patrick’s:
Due to concerns about the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, Bishop Perry along with Bishops of the other Episcopal Dioceses of Michigan and the Bishops of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America have published the following instructions:
... we encourage congregations to refrain from coming together for in-person worship until further notice.
Based on this and our concerns for the health and safety of our members and neighbors, all in-person events will be cancelled until further notice.
The church office will also be closed for the next few weeks.
Someone willcontinue to check the mailbox and phone messages.

A prayer for anytime when we cannot attend worship:
In union, O Lord, with your faithful people at every altar of your Church, where the Holy Eucharist is now being celebrated. I desire to offer you praise and thanksgiving. I remember your death, Lord Christ; I proclaim your resurrection; I await your coming in glory. And since I cannot receive you today in the Sacrament of your Body and Blood, I beseech you to come spiritually into my heart. Cleanse and strengthen me with your grace, Lord Jesus, and let me never be separated from you. May I live in you, and you in me, in this life and the life to come. Amen.
